Rizza Cars Announces October Athlete of the Month

Oct. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- RizzaCars.com is pleased to announce September’s Trib Local Athlete of the month, Brett Robertson of Chicago Christian and announce October’s nominees for the Orland Park and Frankfort districts.

Each month RizzaCars.com sponsors an athlete of the month through the Chicago Tribune’s Trib Local.  Athletes are nominated and winners are selected by voters in their district.  Winners and their schools receive a plaque and donation from the Rizza Cars Auto Group.

Brett Robertson of Chicago Christian School is the first Athlete of the Month this year.  Brett scored 13 goals in ten games this year.  Congratulations go out to Brett and Chicago Christian for a job well done.

The nominees have been announced today for October’s player of the month.  There are seven nominees from the Orland Park district:  Jesse Batsakis, Mt. Assisi;  Lexi Chionis, Chicago Christian; Krystal Garritson, Lockport; Ryan Meeder, Stagg; Genna Pavone, Sandburg; Martice Weatherspoon, Shepard; and Vicki Wrobel, Lemont.  
There are six nominees for Athlete of the Month in the Frankfort district: Gabe Aprati, Providence; Kyle Counter, Lincoln-Way Central; Kyle Duckworth, Andrew; Sarah Garvick, Lincoln-Way East; Nolan Gonciarczyk, Lincoln-Way North; Liz Kopecky, Tinley Park.

Residents in the Orland Park and Tinley Park districts can login to their town’s Trib Local page from now thru October 21st at 9:00 pm to vote for the next Athlete of the Month, sponsored by RizzaCars.com.
