About the Author: Donald Hricik is a transplant nephrologist at an academic medical center in Ohio. He has written over 175 medical papers, but this is his first novel. Dr. Hricik is currently working on his next book, about the transmission of a rare infection from an organ donor to multiple organ recipients.
