Continuing Education Program for Petrochemical Engineers, Engineers, and Geologists

The Minerals Management Service (MMS), is the federal agency responsible for managing the nation''s natural gas, oil and other mineral resources on the outer continental shelf (OCS).  As part of their duties, the MMS release safety reports that describe offshore accidents, and outlines their recommendations to prevent similar mishaps.  This highly informative 1-hour interactive online course explores several of these safety reports so that petroleum engineers can be aware of potentially unknown safety hazards and understand effective ways to prevent serious accidents.
