Oct. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Never before has there been a time since the great depression for people of all countries to STOP! Take a huge deep breath, sit down, smile, grab yourself your lap-top, IPad or pen and paper and do:

1. Sound the trumpet and call a Family meeting. When all are in attendance, welcome all and get ideas as to what they would like on the agenda. Try to get 1 or 2 topics from each person in attendance. Then start with today's date. This will help all to get focussed and determined from this date forward you are planning, writing or typing out a Family or individual crisis management plan for 2010/2011 and onwards. Allocate one responsible person to take accurate minutes of the meeting.

2. Try to suggest discussing early Family Concerns and Family Fears. What maybe bothering you may not be bothering another member of the Family. This is a open learning curve and stress reliever for all. If one person is talking - KEEP QUIET - listen, don't comment just take notes and let them talk. When they are finished, then ask questions, qualify you understand what they have said and assure them the Family will take their fears and concerns on-board.

3.  Try to discuss Expenditure. Raise the question: is the Family spending wisely or foolishly right now? This is an open debate so expect anything. Try to get everyone to agree no one blaming anyone else, just identify problem areas and suggest sound solutions with a smile.

4. Try to discuss Savings. Ask everyone how much are they saving weekly or monthly. If the Family is too near to zero brainstorm ways in which the Family can work together to increase Family savings or income. If one is skilled with a lap-top and Excel do a quick spread-sheet of income and expenditure to see how profitable the best idea is. Or better still write it on a big board or huge sheet of paper. Make it fun and interactive.

5.  Discuss Family unity. This is crucial to the cohesiveness and support one to another. If you can get most or all in agreement [even if it is two] with one plan you have a sound chance of survival in any economy or environment. Try to conclude no one blames or quits no matter what you face or suffer.

6, Try to discuss Faith. What measure of faith does the Family collectively demonstrate? This is an interesting challenge and discussion, The result is your engine power of togetherness, unity, love and determination.

7. Plan of Action. This is where delegation, roles and responsibilities come in. Who will be nominated to lead, manage and get your ideas and plans into action. Take your time, relax and ride all of the above to the end then thank everyone for their contributions and commitment. Most of all enjoy love and togetherness as one.

Have a great day!
