New Concept, Delete Salon Signs Lease For First Location

Oct. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- PHOENIX, Ariz. – Sept. 3, 2010 – With a growing population of tattooed adults projected to seek out tattoo removal, Valley entrepreneur Marci Zimmerman is seizing the opportunity and opening the first Delete Tattoo & Laser Salon. Zimmerman recently signed a 3-year lease on a 1,255 square-foot retail space centrally located at 16th Street and Bethany Home Rd., a few doors north of Luci’s Healthy Marketplace and across the street from The Vig. Construction on the space is scheduled to begin in September and targeted to open to the public in October.  

Delete’s concept, conceived by Zimmerman, is simple. Delete is a modern, comfortable salon offering the latest laser technology to provide complete tattoo removal at affordable pricing. While its core service is tattoo removal, the salon will also provide premier services in all things laser removal to refresh the skin—scars, birthmarks, skin lesions, and wrinkles.

“A tattoo often represents who you were, rather than who you are today," said Zimmerman. “People now have a place to go to have tattoos safely and comfortably removed without having to break the bank.”

Phoenix design firm Bar Napkin Productions, led by Hailey Balzano and Jeffrey Rausch, will oversee the design and renovations of the space. The transformation from what was previously a laundry mat, will feature interiors they describe as, “cool, hip and fresh.”

The 1,200 square feet will include a reception/lounge and three treatment rooms. Designers have selected a color palate of white, grey and brown with accents of burnt orange and cobalt blue. Interiors will include European cabinetry, flooring made from recycled rubber and cork, and the integration of graphics and customized lighting to create an environment less clinical and more warm and inviting.

The Phoenix salon will be the first in Arizona to offer clients the AlexTriVantage™ by Candela laser, which effectively removes tattoos of all types, benign pigmented lesions, freckles, sun & age spots, birthmarks, café au lait marks, scars and Nevus of Ota/Ito, which are dark discolorations occurring around the eyes and shoulders.
