PRLog -- San Diego, CA -- The San Diego Boca Reserves started their winter campaign in the San Diego County Soccer League Sunday, October 3, 2010 with a 1-0 victory over FC PBR at Helix High Soccer Stadium.
SD Boca FC Reserves opened the scoring midway through the first half in the 29th minute with a nice header by forward Justin Picou off an assist from George Gomez who delivered a nice ball from the right side to an on rushing Picou who directed the ball into the lower right corner for a 1-0 lead which is where the game ended.
Both teams battled hard as the San Diego County Soccer League got into full swing with games across the county. Next Sunday, October 10, 2010, San Diego Boca FC Reserves battle SBFC Sporting at Helix High Soccer Stadium with kickoff set at 2:30 pm.
