Lory’s Place Crew Annual Fundraiser

Oct. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Start your holiday shopping now with the annual Lory’s Place Crew Holiday Sale. Beautifully decorated sticky notepaper cubes are now available for sale. Orders must be placed between now and October 29 to purchase the holiday gifts. Each cube is $15. These make great gifts for friends, family, teachers, coworkers, and neighbors. All of the proceeds are used to support the programs and services of Lory’s Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center of Hospice at Home.

This project is led by the Lory’s Place Crew, a group of devoted volunteers who raise money and help with events to support Lory’s Place. “We have over 70 members,” stated Irene Fiskars, president of the Crew. “Our members lovingly support Lory’s Place through volunteer work and this annual sale,” continues Fiskars. The items will be ready to pick up at Lory’s Place on November 9.

Lory's Place helps children and their families work through their grief so they can remember with love and look to the future with hope. The services are free to all who need them. Lory's Place is fully funded by the generous donations and gifts of our community and fundraisers such as the Crew Annual Sale fundraiser.
