By: Hulafrog Create a Halloween Goodie Bowl (Ages 7-12): Have some fun painting a colorful ceramic candy bowl to stash all of your tricks and treats. Take this one and a half hour class at Thompson Park Creative Arts Center either on October 7th or 9th. Halloween Capes & Wands (Ages 3-7): Have a little princess or superhero at home? They can create their own Halloween costume. Let them decorate a capes and make a magic wand. This class is at Thompson Park Creative Arts Center on October 18th and 23rd. Halloween Candy Dish (Ages 5-8 with an adult): If your goodie bowl isn’t big enough, make a candy dish as well. Kids and their caretakers can paint a spooky ceramic bowl together. This class is at Thompson Park Creative Arts Center on both October 14th or October 16th. Holiday Escapades (Ages 2-5 with adult): This mommy and me class mixes holiday arts and crafts with story time and games. Head over to Henry Hudson Activity Center or Dorbrook Recreation Center on October 30 the partake in the Fall fun Fall Story Time and Craft (Ages 3-5, with adult): Make a pumpkin hanger, a spooky witch or decorate a Halloween tote, and listen to a story that coincides with your craft. Pick your theme and project on these dates: October 5th, 12th, 19th or 26th at Thompson Park Creative Arts Center. Critters and Jitters (all ages, under 18 with adult): Meet the critters that give some people jitters! Enjoy a hayride through the rolling meadows of Huber Woods. Craft and pumpkin picking are also part of the fun. Room left only on October 19 and 27.
