Oct. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- The Innovation Enterprise 2010 Conference, to be held in Macon GA in November is a unique opportunity for inventors, prototype makers, manufacturers and the military to find and develop solutions for the military and commercial markets.

The organizer of the conference, the NNMC, has a government OTA contract to find and develop solutions for the military, and will use this conference to show attendees how they can work with the NNMC to develop inventions into production. Working under the NNMC’s OTA contract eliminates most of the management normally associated with government contracts.

Martha Zoller presents her unique perspective as a media personality visiting Iraq and Afghanistan and her continuing discussions with private businesses gained from her radio talk show. Martha Zoller will be giving a presentation at the conference, plus introducing the Keynote Speaker, US Congressman Jim Marshall.

In July 2005, Martha was part of the one of the first trips by radio talk show hosts to Kuwait and Iraq which included live broadcasts from Iraq. Martha has visited with members of all the branches of the service, seen what they can do on their bases around the country and was briefed by then Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Richard Myers.

Martha returned to Iraq in January 2007 and took a Gold Star Father back to thank the troops.  She is also involved in many projects directly relating to support of the troops and participates in Freedom Alliance events and fundraising around the country.

The Innovation Enterprise 2010 Conference will highlight a unique opportunity for inventors, prototype makers and manufacturers to work together to develop much-needed solutions for the military.

Traditionally, working with the government often meant long delays plus a considerable amount of time and money devoted to management of the government contract. However the NNMC works with both the government and the private sector to significantly reduce the paperwork and time normally associated with developing solutions for the military. This frees the inventors and companies to concentrate on what they do best.

This entire program, along with current case studies, will be presented during the conference.

The Conference is all about making contacts that lead to contracts.

Commercial technology seekers are also encouraged to come to the conference because the military has technologies that it wants to share with the commercial sector.

It has been shown that in many cases, the same technology can be used in both the military and commercial sectors. In what is known as the "Dual Use" program, the military is able to increase the effectiveness of its R&D budget by encouraging development with the commercial sector. Inventors will be given VIP treatment with the opportunity to showcase their inventions in the Poster Gallery that will run concurrently with the conference. Service Providers will also be able to showcase their capabilities in the Poster Gallery.

The Innovation Enterprise 2010 Conference will be held at the Macon Marriott City Center from November 15 – 17, 2010. Special discount hotel accommodation is available for all attendees.
