Medical Tourism Facilitator Helps Clean The Environment

The "Let's Do It Romania" is an event organised in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, and has required mapping of waste areas throughout the country. Teams of volunteers are then recruited, who are either assigned a spot or choose an area that they will clean. The garbage and waste collected is rounded up and disposed of accordingly, in most cases sent through to be recycled. It has proven to be a successful action in all of the countries which have picked up on the model.


The action took place on the 25th of September 2010 and Brasov – the destination that Qdays Medical Holidays operates in as a medical tourism facilitator has shown what it means to be environmentally conscious leading being a leader in terms of number of volunteers that have joined the movement.
