Mikki Williams honored with top speaker status by Meetings and Conventions Magazine

Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Mikki Williams, a Chicago-based Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), has been selected by nationwide meeting planners as one of the best professional keynote presenters they had every heard or used.  The annual Meetings and Conventions magazine poll released in July lists an elite group of 83 top public speaking pros. Williams’ keynote presentations and training seminars and workshops earned her a place on an esteemed list that also includes Mike Ditka, Tony Robbins, Sarah Palin, Lou Holtz, Stephen Covey, Bill Gates, Rudy Giuliani, and more.

On October 20 at 6:30 p.m., experience Williams’ distinct style at an upcoming fundraiser benefiting Compass to Care: The Mike and Sandy Ernsdorff Childhood Cancer Foundation.  Compass to Care is dedicated to scheduling and paying for the travel arrangements families require to seek the best cancer care for their children. The Eat, Care, Laugh event will be held at Flourish Studios at 3020 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago, and entrance is free with donations suggested to support the non-profit.  

An inspirational humorist and business motivator, this self-described serial entrepreneur said that her many successful careers have given her a wealth of information and experience in sales and marketing, teamwork, presentation skills, customer service, work/life balance, humor in the workplace and motivation. An Enthusiologist™ who went from dance choreographer through nine successful careers to word choreographer, Williams mixes compassion and humor with business savvy to share insight and inspiration for life-changing impact.  

“I live by the mantra ‘Be outrageous. It’s the only place that isn’t crowded,’” said Williams.
