Nova Verta Spray Booths, with Inverter Technology, produce more and consume less

The industry experts define the inverters a crucial turning point for the energy efficiency in industry. Nova Verta confirms that their application in its paint installations adds reliability to the system: they produce more while they consume less.

PRLog - Oct. 1, 2010 - AREZZO, Italy -- Most of the electric motors used in Italian Industry consume much more energy than what it is really necessary, because they rely on cutting-edge technologies. However, if inverters are widely adopted, as Nova Verta proposes in its plants, the obtained results will be a considerable saving in fuel consumption, a reduction of CO2 emissions, an improvement in plant productivity, and greater strength and longevity of the engines.

An inverter is an electronic device that is able to convert a direct current into an alternating current and to modify their characteristics. Nova Verta for the construction of its painting installations usually uses the inverter technology: Touch Screen 2.0 is the ideal control panel to  optimize spray booths performances. The panel TS is able to manage independently the inverter according to the temperature, pressure and working phases without any additional controls.

It is necessary to take into account that the largest energy saving occurs when an engine travel at low speed as it happens during the bake cycle of a spray booth. The inverter allows to obtain the lowest rotary speed and at the same time the engine works with its characteristics included in the ideal curve V / F. The inverters help to reduce the air flow in all those phases where the operations can be performed without compromising the quality of the painting.

The advantages are the energy the savings in fuel and electricity, and the reduction of the stress that cause consumption in the mechanical components during the start-up phase, allowing a longer duration.
