Sept. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Having been a guest on the April 26th  show, Robert returns to demystify social security benefits for seniors and discuss future changes to the program

Social Security provides benefits to over 54 million Americans. 14% percent of people 65 and older receiving benefits rely on Social Security for their family income. Social Security has been providing benefits for 75 years but with a looming federal deficit there has been discussion of cutting benefits including raising the full retirement age from 66 to 70. Robert Fenn will discuss the potential changes and how it may affect each and everyone of us.

As a public affairs specialist for the Social Security Administration Robert has first hand experience of people’s lack of knowledge and understanding of Social Security from eligibility to applying for benefits. He will address many of the common questions about Social Security such as requirements for disability payments and receiving survivor benefits and  share with Wriggling in the Middle listeners tips and resources about Social Security benefits if you are planning to retire, unemployed, or unable to work.
