Alpizar Law Supports National Teen Driver Safety Week 2010

Palm Bay, FL – The attorneys and staff of Alpizar Law, a personal injury and wrongful death law firm, support National Teen Driver Safety Week (NTDSW), October 17-23, 2010. The week is dedicated to raising awareness and seeking solutions to unnecessary teen deaths on the road.

This year's theme is ‘Reducing Distractions’, including texting and friends as passengers. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), car crashes are reported the number cause of deaths of adolescents. In 2008 about 3,500 teens in the United States aged 15–19 were killed and more than 350,000 were treated in emergency departments for injuries suffered in motor-vehicle crashes.

National Teen Driver Safety Week is an opportunity for Drive Alive, a public service/safety program created by Alpizar Law, developed to educate and spread awareness about safe driving, to continue to bring awareness and encourage involvement in the community to adopt safe driving practices.
