Rob Turns 'Detective' To Track Down New Career

Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- JOB hunting IT expert Rob Jones turned amateur sleuth when a passing Pro Network’s IT Support vehicle drove past his Holywell home and left him dreaming of a promising new career.

Tough economic conditions had left the 25 years old father of one on short time at the firm he had worked at for the past two years and his desperate attempts to find a new job in information technology had been unsuccessful so far.

“I saw the Pro-Networks van go by and I quickly made a note of the web address,” explained Rob. “I checked out the website and then decided to ring the head office and ask if there were any vacancies in IT. I couldn’t believe it when they asked me to call into their Deeside HQ.”

Rob was invited to attend an interview and when senior members of the team were satisfied that Rob’s IT qualifications were up to their exacting standards, they offered him a full time position with the 20 strong IT support team.

“I’m over the moon to have found a new job with a well established but fast growing company like Pro-Networks,” said Rob who now holds the position of Senior Network Engineer.

“Pro-Networks support the IT infrastructure of companies large and small across the UK and are one of the leading providers of IT support in Wales. It is an honour to be working with such a highly respected outfit.

“As well as working on IT equipment here at the Deeside head office we operate a telephone support service for client companies to help them get the most from their IT networks. We also go out to client premises to deal with computer hardware problems. And for Rob, employment at Pro Networks has offered and additional bonus. “In the three months that I have been here I have been able to improve my IT qualifications as Pro-Networks is a Pro-Metric IT Examining Body, ” explained Rob.
