45 Companies Featured on Orange County Business Journal’s Second Annual Best Places to Work List

Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Irvine, CA - On Monday, September 27th, The Orange County Business Journal published its second annual Best Places to Work Special Report and List featuring 45 top-ranked employers in Orange County based on employer/employee surveys.

The List was compiled on behalf of the Business Journal using Harrisburg, Pa.-based Best Companies Group, an independent workplace researcher.  The workplace researcher managed the registration process, conducted surveys, evaluated data and selected rankings for companies on the List based on overall scores from queries regarding management, benefits, policies, culture, and other areas.  The final 45 companies featured represent the top employers from the nearly 100 local organizations surveyed.

The 45 companies honored on the List were divided into three categories: large, medium, and small (based upon number of employees).  To be considered, employers had to have had at least 15 workers and have been in business for at least a year.

Following is a list of the ten top-ranking companies:

3. McCarthy Building Cos., Newport Beach

MEDIUM COMPANIES CATEGORY
1. Trace3 Inc., Irvine
2. Momentum Group, Irvine
3. Aspen Medical Products, Irvine

SMALL COMPANIES CATEGORY
1. Questar Construction, Newport Beach
2. OluKai, Aliso Viejo
3. HBA Inc., Anaheim
