The revised i10 gets an all new front end, with different headlamps, bumper and grill sections which look a little like the current Ford Fiesta.
The company has upgraded the interior, and it has been given a new 1.0 engine, replacing the well regarded Kappa motor. The upgraded power unit produces 99g/km of CO2 emissions.
The i10 has proved a popular alternative to models like the Kia Picanto, Nissan Pixo, Suzuki Alto and Daihatsu Sirion, and has attracted buyers who might otherwise have chosen costlier mainstream superminis like the Ford Ka and Vauxhall Agila.
The ix20 gives Hyundai a cut price alternative to models like the Vauxhall Meriva and a direct competitor to the Kia Venga.

British sales of the ix20 start in November, but the facelifted i10 won’t reach British showrooms until next year.
