Auspit Outdoor Rotisseries to Compete at World's Largest BBQ Competition

Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Championship barbecue returns to its roots when Auspit Australian Outdoor Rotisseries makes its debut at the Kansas City BBQ Association’s premiere event, the American Royal BBQ Competition in Kansas City, Missouri October 1-3, 2010.  

While many competition BBQ teams utilize high-tech, dedicated BBQ trailers, the “Jonny Rotisserie and the Auspiteers” team will be returning to the origins of barbecue, cooking all of their entries using a rotisserie spit over an open fire pit.  

“The cavemen were on to something” said Jonny Rotisserie, Chief Kangaroo at Auspit Outdoor Rotisseries, “they had a stick, some meat and a fire. This is how barbecue began.”
