CogniFit technology helping young drivers reduce their insurance premiums

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Codes Rousseau has partnered with the French Ministry of Transportation to create an accident prevention program for young drivers called Permis9 (www.permis9.fr).

The basis of this project is to offer a significant discount to the young drivers (those with a driving licence for less than 1 year) on the auto insurance premium if the driver accepts being included in a 2-year prevention program. The program includes lectures, online sessions and 2 online cognitive assessments (CogniFit software) during the program.

Already major motor vehicle related companies have partnered with the program and are offering benefits to permis9 members. Participants in the program can enjoy discounts of up to 40% on their insurance premiums with MG ARD (a division of major insurance house AXA) and insurance broker Sphinx Affinity being involved. And as if the benefits of enhanced safety and reduced insurance premiums isn’t enough, French motorists who hold a driver’s licence and are a permis9 member receive a 20% discount on RRP for all new public purchases on 2 models of Chevrolet cars.
