Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Anyone who has ever wondered whether Atlantis existed will be thrilled to hear that the Atlanteans survived and continue to flourish in the waters below the Bermuda Triangle, in a city named Ambrosia as revealed in Robin Sutton’s new novel “Ambrosia: Weapons Underworld” (ISBN 9780975509821, The Robin’s Nest Books, 2010).

After spending years researching and pondering the story of Atlantis, author Robin Sutton has created a novel based around her own unique theory that the Atlanteans survived in the ocean, developed advanced technology to live underwater, and built the city of Ambrosia. The Bermuda Triangle’s mysteries can be explained by the superior technology of the Atlanteans and their efforts to protect their identity. That is—until one Ambrosian decides he wants to create a trade agreement with the land dwellers.

Matthew has never liked the idea that Ambrosia was hidden from the rest of the world, and now that he and his family have become influential, he wishes not only contact with the land dwellers, but his many schemes include selling U.S. weapons to other countries to finance his even greater ambitions.

Helena has grown up in Ambrosia with a loving family, a wonderful career, and now she is about to marry her fiancé. Then an unexpected tragedy suddenly leaves her parents and fiancé dead. Worse, Matthew believes Helena has information about him that could threaten his plans. Before she knows it, Helena finds herself in Matthew’s power, a situation that will quickly change both of their lives. And when Helena rescues Kevin, a member of the U.S. Navy, during a sub attack, not only does Kevin discover the legends of mermaids are real, but a new triangle is formed between the three main characters.

“Ambrosia: Weapons Underworld” is a dynamic blend of fantasy and mythology combined with science-fiction technology. Readers are taken on an imaginative deep-sea adventure so compelling they will find it difficult to stop reading long enough to come up for air. Robin Sutton delights in the unexpected; she refuses to write formulaic novels and instead keeps her readers guessing on every page. With vivid descriptions, imaginative technological marvels, and a startling revelation about one of earth’s greatest mysteries, “Ambrosia: Weapons Underworld” will both satisfy readers and leave them wanting more.
