Sept. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- REDTRAY, the leading provider of blended learning solutions, today announces the appointment of Tracy Capaldi-Drewett as Sales Director of its ALTO Managed Services Division.

Capaldi-Drewett has more than 20 years’ experience in the training industry in both sales and operational roles. He joins REDTRAY from Epic Performance Improvement Limited where he was Commercial Director.

His appointment marks a new period of investment and growth for REDTRAY following the recent launch to market of ALTO v2.0, the innovative new Learning and Integration Portal and Learning Management System.  ALTO enables organisations to meet and maintain compliance requirements, improve channel partner performance, align learning programmes to global competency frameworks and manage significant organisational change.

REDTRAY Chairman and CEO Bob Woodland says: “Tracy is a welcome addition to our senior management team. His industry pedigree, enviable track record and wealth of experience add significantly to the knowledge and quality of service that we deliver to our customers.”

Comments Capaldi-Drewett: “I’m looking forward to building on REDTRAY’s success and innovation, which industry reports such as the latest from Pardo Fox recognise. I’m impressed by the thinking demonstrated by REDTRAY in delivering long term, engaging solutions that support and give the necessary flexibility to customers as their businesses implement and undergo change.”

Capaldi-Drewett started his career with Maxim Training. Following its acquisition by KnowledgePool in 2000, he was appointed Senior Sales Manager with responsibility for sales and marketing for publishing, bespoke eLearning and online mentoring.

He was later appointed General Manager of the KnowledgePool eLearning Centre of Excellence, becoming CEO of KnowledgePool eLearning Ltd after its acquisition by Root Capital. He joined Epic in 2005 as Sales Director following the sale of Epic to Huveaux, implementing a new sales strategy and building a sales team to drive performance and revenues. He became Commercial Director under Epic’s new private ownership in 2008.

Launched in spring 2010, ALTO v2.0 is based on a powerful Learning Management System developed by REDTRAY over several years to support complex customer learning programmes. Designed by learning experts for learning experts, the robust SaaS-based portal is unique in its ease-of-use and ability to manage all aspects of both structured and informal learning solutions.

ALTO is cited in the Bersin & Associates' Annual LMS Research Program, which features the industry’s most popular Learning Management Systems.  Click here to find out more about ALTO: http://www.redtray.co.uk/alto_learning_management.htm.
