Follow on Google News | Turn your business idea into a winner at New Start Wales Exhibition 2010The Bright Ideas Competition, part of New Start Wales Business Exhibition, gives would-be entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges to win £5,000 in cash and up to £30,000 in support services and products.
By: New Start Wales 2010 Last years competitors displayed a wide range of business ideas to the panel who were impressed by the quality of the entrants. John Chichester, 2009 winner of the prize and creator of Tbox - a green alternative to plastic bags for the retail sector, said “Winning the Bright Business Idea Competition was a massive boost for Tbox Solutions, the cash and services have proved invaluable in getting the business off the ground, but we have also benefited greatly from the exposure and contacts that the competition generates!” Even those who do not win the grand prize have seen notable differences in their business since either visiting the show or entering the competition. Luke Cornish, who reached the final of the competition in 2009 said, “timto.co.uk benefited enormously by entering last year’s New Start Wales competition as it provided us with the confidence and the contacts to transform our unique online birthday present service idea into a successful business in 2010.” The Bright Ideas competition is just one of the many features of New Start Wales Exhibition. The show, which includes over 80 exhibitors and over 30 seminars, is free to attend and is now the country’s biggest business event. Anyone wishing to pitch their ideas to the panel of judges should download an application form from www.newstartwales.com and bring a print out to the show. Heats run throughout Friday and Saturday morning with the grand final live on Saturday afternoon. http://www.youtube.com/ http://www.newstartwales.com End
