Sunrise Aviation Visits China

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 24, 2010 - Beijing, China.  From September 16th through September 22nd, Sunrise Aviation, a flight school in Florida, met with aviation industry leaders in Beijing and Inner Mongolia, China.  Sunrise Aviation has enrolled students from around the world including Asia during the past 27 years.  China continues to be a strong force in aviation in Asia and now is the second largest airline market in the world.  China will need to train over 2,000 pilots each year to meet current and forecasted demand for airline pilots.  If general aviation continues to expand, the number of professional pilots needed to meet the additional general aviation demand may be much greater than that.

Sunrise Aviation will continue to seek opportunities to partner with businesses and schools in China, the rest of Asia, and the rest of the world.  Representing Sunrise Aviation during this trip to China was Patrick Murphy, Director of Training.  Murphy was the Training Manager and COO of Beijing Panam International Aviation Academy from 2005 until 2007 so he has direct flight training experience in China.  For the past 20 years, Murphy has worked with flight schools and students from Taiwan and China.

Sunrise Aviation also visited Malaysia during this trip.

Sunrise Aviation has been teaching students to fly at their location in Ormond Beach, Florida since 1983.  During the period from 2005 through 2008 they graduated over 100 students from India.  Many of those students are now flying for airlines in India. Students from India continue to come to Sunrise aviation to do their professional pilot training though in fewer numbers than in earlier years.  

Sunrise Aviation has one of the larger fleets of training aircraft of the independent flight schools in Florida.  They have over 40 aircraft with a fleet that now includes glass cockpit aircraft.
