To STOP Japan from Slaughtering Whales and Dolphins
October 14th 2010 12pm-5pm
In front of the Japanese Consulate at the intersection of 400 and Phipps Plaza.
Atlanta GA: “Rescue Dolphins” announced today the date and location of its Atlanta Protest against the Slaughter of Dolphins and Whales in Taiji Japan. The protest is part of a larger worldwide protest organized by many organizations around the world including “Sea Shepherd” and “Save Japan Dolphins”.
All of the protests, including the Atlanta protest, will be held on October 14th from 12pm to 5pm in front of the Japanese Embassies/Consulates. The Atlanta consulate building is located at 3500 Lenox Road, Atlanta, GA. The Public is welcome to attend.
Over 40 cities around the world have united together to protest the slaughter and butcher of whales and dolphins by Japan. Japan alone accounts for the majority of all whale and dolphin killings. The movie “The Cove” revealed the horrendous indiscriminate butchering of Dolphins and Whales in Taiji Japan. Japan just days ago rounded up and illegally killed 15 pilot whales in Taiji Japan. Japan is in violation of international law. It is the intention of the protest to pressure Japan to stop this inexcusable raping of the World’s Oceans.
Rescue Dolphins is an Atlanta Based animal protection group.
