This event honors long-time Morton Grove resident Jack O’Brien, who was not only an avid golfer, but a long-time community volunteer and co-founder of the Action Party of Morton Grove (along with former Mayors Richard Flickinger and Dan Scanlon). He also served as the village’s electrical inspector and ran his own electrical contracting company for many years. One of Jack’s crowning achievements (besides his loving family) was his work on the television transmission towers on top of the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) and the John Hancock buildings in Chicago.
For those interested in participating in the Action Party Golf Outing, the fees are as follows:
* Golf only: $100 per person which includes golf cart and two beverage cart tickets.
* All-You-
* Golf and dinner purchased together: $120 per person.
Businesses and individuals are encouraged to become “Hole Sponsors” as a great way to support the Action Party and advertise their business. Sponsorship is $125 for new sponsors and $100 for 2009 sponsors. Each sponsor will be advertised on an 18” x 24” sign.
First tee time is 10:30 a.m. All golf tickets and hole sponsors are automatically entered into a raffle which will have great prizes. The dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. at the beautiful Mount Prospect Golf Course (located at 600 S. See-Gwun Avenue in Mount Prospect, Illinois 60056.) A cash bar will open at 4:30 p.m.
All proceeds will be used to benefit the Action Party of Morton Grove, a proud member of the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce.
For tickets and/or tee times, contact Terri Cousar at (847) 638-2706 or by email at teresa.cousar@
