Taste of Crete is the creation of owner Esther Luongo Psarakis who formed the company in November 2004. After she met her Greek husband and had two big fat Greek weddings, one here in the US and one in Crete, Greece, she fell in love with the people, culture and foods of Greece. Taste of Crete is her way of sharing that joy with others. “The Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest diets in the world, with the diet of Crete being the healthiest according to many studies”, says Ms. Psarakis. “Many people are looking for ways to eat better and still enjoy their food. Greek food can be the answer to both of these needs.” Recently, Taste of Crete was featured in theNYTimeshttp://www.nytimes.com/
