Special Olympics Louisiana and law enforcement agencies will host the 2nd Lafayette Plane Pull on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Lafayette Regional Airport.

Sept. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- This event is being held to benefit Special Olympics Louisiana athletes. The event will begin at 10:00am and end around 1:00pm, depending upon the number of teams registered. The cost is $1,000 per 20-person team.  (That is only $50 a person!)

Plane Pull is a fun event where 20 people form a team and pull a Fed Ex B727-200 weighing approximately 155,000 lbs.  Teams pull the plane 12 feet and compete for Fastest Team, Slowest Team, and Best Dressed Team. Plane Pull is open to registered teams only.  Bonus: Come listen to music from your favorite radio stations courtesy of Townsquare Media, Inc., HOT 107.9 and Planet Radio 105.1. Special Olympics Louisiana (SOLA) is a state-wide organization that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities.
