New web-based 3D models of over 8,000 Tyco Electronics products now accessible via Premier Farnell

Sept. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- 23 September 2010, London – The 3D models will be available globally via element14, the company’s online technology resource and community created exclusively for electronic design engineers. The products are available for purchase via the web in Europe, through Farnell and Asia Pacific, through Premier Electronics.

Design engineers will now be able to view the Tyco Electronics products in 3D with the added ability to rotate the image 360 degrees, enabling them to view the part from all angles. The 3D product models can be very helpful to design engineers in visualising how a product may fit into an overall design plan.

The 8,000 plus 3D products will also be highlighted through element14, where design engineers globally collaborate, share and access new information to support them in their design work.
