Follow on Google News | New Local Aviation Program To Debut In High Definition On Kstc-45The Flightline goes into the cockpit to share aviation stories from the Midwest, while being produced and hosted by local Twin Cities Talent.
By: Mike Francis, President River Heights Media September 18th. The show is called “The Flightline” (brought to you in beautiful HD by Wings Financial) and will be broadcast on KSTC-45HD.The stories focus not only on aircraft new and old, military and civilian, small and large, but also on the people who fly these aircraft. These stories are produced to be enjoyed by not only the aviation enthusiast, but by anyone who has marveled at the wonder of flight as the technical aviation jargon is kept to a minimum. In addition to their ground-based HD cameras, the production team uses small HD cameras mounted in and around the aircraft to give the audience the feeling they are flying along when they take to the skies. The show is hosted by Eden Prairieʼs Mark DeJoy and “show pilot” and consultant Paul Jackson of Chaska who is a senior captain for a major air carrier and a certified flight instructor. DeJoy and Jackson are lifelong friends who have known each other since kindergarten. River Heights Media coordinates the rest of the locally based production team. There are stories of Minnesotans who are in the Navyʼs Blue Angels and pilot the Air Forceʼs new F-22 Stealth Fighter, footage from air shows, old world war I and world war II aircraft, skydiving, a golf course with a aircraft runway between the fairways and coming soon, stories about the Minnesota National Guard.
