Denver, CO – Denver based gospel powerhouse Tyree Morris & Hearts of Worship will converge on the Los Angeles area this weekend to participate in the L.A. County Fair and serve up a hot plate of contemporary gospel at the House of Blues’ Cajun style brunch in Anaheim.
These urban contemporaries bring a style that is as diverse as the demographic make-up of many of their audiences. With an intricate fusing of Gospel, Hip-Hop, Salsa, R&B, Retro-Funk, Jazz and nuances of Neo-Soul – Tyree Morris and Hearts of Worship create the quintessential praise party for any celebration!
This is the fifth time that Tyree Morris & Hearts of Worship have performed at one of the 13 House of Blues locations, previously gracing the stage in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Dallas.
The group will also be performing at the L.A. County Fair on Saturday, September 25. The opportunity comes on the heels of the group celebrating their first appearance last month at the mega Christian music event Heaven Fest in Longmont, Colorado which drew an estimated 40,000 people from across the region.
These are the kind of platforms the group’s founder Tyree Morris hoped for when he started the group five years ago. “Our musical message has always been far more reaching than the walls of our local church community.” Morris is hoping the exposure will lead to similar opportunities for the group who received a international distribution with Roo Records/Integrity Central South Distributors in 2009, garnering them digital presence around the world.
