Bottega Brings Diamonds To Cannes And Win A Silver Medal

Cannes 2010: bottega enters the “diamond” market with a new luxury wine

Sept. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- After the success earned with the trendy Prosecco Gold, Distilleria Bottega launches a new luxury wine, adding a special sparkling wine to his portfolio: Bottega Diamond.

Bottega Diamond is a special Pinot Noir from Oltrepo’ Pavese (Lombardia, Italy), bottled in a unique “package”. The charming Diamond bottle is enriched by crystal diamonds that reproduce the Bottega logo. This dry, harmonic and velvety sparkling wine is characterized by a thin and persistent perlage, as well as pleasant scents of fruit (black cherries). The aftertaste is slightly spicy (Cinnamon and Mint hints).

Pinot noir is a very fickle grape, requiring the utmost attention and respect in every phase of the winemaking process. For this reason, it is considered a special wine. In addition, Pinot Noir is special because it is produced just once a year: after 2 fermentations the wine remains in tanks for almost 12 months in contact with lees, a production method that enhances complexity and adds extra richness and flavour to the wine.

Bottega Diamond will be presented at the Duty Free Fair, TFWA, in Cannes on the 17th of October. Bottega Diamond has been awarded a Silver Medal with the Travel Excellence Retail Awards on “Best Drinks Launch of the Year” Drinks International.
