Sep. 22, 2010 - Ooh! La, La! Couture is proud to present an exclusively designed group of dresses to raise awareness about the issues championed and supported by the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation. Ooh! La, La! Couture hopes that successful sales of the dresses will help heighten awareness about the importance of newborn screening and supporting children and families affected with GA1 and other OA’s (organic acidemia metabolic disorders). The dresses incorporate the browns and pinks of the foundation logo and wing designs, embodying the BBAF moto "Be an Angel for an Angel in need." Ooh! La, La! Couture will donate 100 special wings style dresses directly to the BBAF and will be availble for purchase during a special Ooh! La, La! Couture fashion show at Scott Baio's 50th Birthday Gala, Sunday, September 26th, 2010 at the Beverly Garland Hotel. Renee and Scott Baio started the foundation after a their own beautiful daughter, Bailey, tested “positive”
for a metabolic disorder known as “G-A 1”. Luckily, after ten weeks they discovered that the results were a ‘false positive’. Incredibly grateful for the prospect of a healthy future together as a family, Renee and Scott have dedicated themselves to help others whose lives continue to be deeply affected by these devastating illnesses.
