Featuring improved performance, efficiency, safety, and styling, the second-generation Scion tC should attract plenty of attention from those shopping for an affordable, yet exciting car in Texas.
2011 Scion tC Specs
“The all-new tC features styling that is both refined and aggressive, appealing to a sports coupe owner who wants to make a bold statement,” said Jack Hollis, vice president of Scion. “When the tC first launched in 2004, it quickly became Scion’s best selling vehicle. We took the already successful tC, added a long list of enhancements, and attached a price tag that makes it a tremendous value."
The newest tC features a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine which produces 180 horsepower, 19 more than its precursor and 11 additional lb-ft of torque. The tC's two all-new six-speed transmissions both provide a better on-road experience, acceleration and fuel economy.
The tC's bold and aggressive new design took cues from the Calty-designed Scion FUSE concept. One of the more distinctive features of the new tC is the sleek cabin shape with wrap-around window graphics that add to its sporty profile.
In addition to all of these new features, the 2011 Scion tC also adds a key safety innovation: a supplemental restraint system (SRS) front passenger knee airbag, which brings the total number of airbags to eight. Additional SRS airbags include driver and front passenger airbags, driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, driver knee airbag, and side curtain airbags.
Exciting, attractive, safe and best of all, affordable, the 2011 Scion tC is an excellent option for Weatherford Scion shoppers.
