Wakefield will be responsible for determining the overall direction and success of the Professional Services group to extend the already broad reach in our existing customer base, as well as identifying new and emerging markets.
Wakefield joins the Now Micro team from Minnetonka Public Schools where he served as the Network Security Specialist. In this role, he was responsible for creating and maintaining the district’s disaster recovery plan; implementing a VDI environment using VMware; handling corporate antivirus and incident response; and managing system security planning. Before serving as the Network Security Specialist, he was also the Network Systems Specialist, the Network Operations Specialist and the Field Technician.
With over 5 years of high level technical experience, Wakefield has extensive knowledge of numerous operating systems, networking and software services including VMware. He also serves as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Tech teaching courses on Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Network Operating Systems and WAN Technology.
