ASBDC is the association that represents America’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, which was founded as a public-private partnership by Congress thirty years ago. Today, the ASBDC’s mission is to help small businesses stay profitable and competitive in the modern marketplace, and to help new entrepreneurs achieve their dream of owning a business. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, SBDCs provided face-to-face business consultations and trainings to over 580,000 entrepreneurs and small business owners in 2009.
