Woofstock Memphis 2010 is coming Saturday, September 25th!

Sept. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- (Memphis, TN) Animal World USA is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Tennessee Week for the Animals last main event in Memphis "WOOFSTOCK" will be held again at beautiful Overton Park around Rainbow Lake on Sunday, September 25, 2010.

This will be a totally fun-filled day that will bring animal lovers, shelters, rescue orgs, musicians, students and neighborhood groups all together to have fun, adopt loving pets and gather at one of the most beautiful historic parks in the United States. A full day of music from some of the most talented musicians in the Memphis music industry is planned.

-Brad Webb & Friends

There will be Memphis Animal Services pet adoptions, rescue/humane groups some of which are Sunny Meadow Safehaven, Belly Rubs Bassett Rescue, Rabbit Wise, Mewtopia, Raisins from Heaven Ferrett Rescue, Dogs 2nd Chance, Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue, Mid-South Spay & Neuter, Southern States Bully Breed Rescue and Spay in the City!

Blessing of the Animals from Grace St. Luke's, Memphis Police Dept. K- Unit, student group Huggable Plushies: plushed toys & art benefiting animals, also civic and humane groups. Three Dog Bakery and Hollywood Natural & Holistic Pet Food will be there for the animals with cool stuff and yummy pet food. Fun for everyone!  Silent auction with some fabulous cool musical stuff and great vendors!

Yummy crepes including veggie & vegan offerings from The Crepe Maker & also The Candied Apple Lady, who has a bit of everything for everybody.  

The festival will save precious lives through pet adoptions, increase compassionate awareness for the animals, build new friendships and provide fun-filled activities for all.
