Heartland Institutional Review Board’s goal is to provide clients with clear and informative feedback to ensure compliance with regulations for ethical treatment of human subjects during research in the social sciences and program evaluation. They review research and program evaluation protocols weekly and can even expedite review when necessary.
Even though they are a newly established commercial institutional review board, their panel consists of over 30 reviewers with an average of 20 years research experience. They are insured and operate in accordance with research standards established by the National Institute of Health and the Food and Drug Administration.
Heartland Institutional Review Board specializes in social science and education research as well as program evaluation protocols for grant-funded projects. The reviewers are experts in both quantitative and qualitative research tools and experienced in all aspects of education, social science, workforce training/education, rehabilitation, health, kinesiology, social work, psychology, business, technology, and program evaluation.
