NJMET featured on Multi-Media Production’s 21st Century Business Television Program

Sept. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Giacomo Federico, President and CEO of NJMET and Joseph Federico, Vice President and Director of Operations appeared on the premiere of the 21st Century Business Program highlighting NJMET and its MISSION:  IMPOSTER® Counterfeit Component Detection Program.  The Fox Business Network broadcast the premiere on Saturday,  September 11th.  The program describes the threat of counterfeit electronic components to the Military, Aerospace, Industrial, Automotive and Commercial industries and how NJMET plays a vital role in identifying counterfeit components through its state of the art MISSION: IMPOSTER program.

Giacomo Federico described how NJMET came to understand the enormity of the cloned and counterfeit components epidemic around the globe.  Joe Federico explained the various levels of tests that the engineers at NJMET’s Clifton, NJ laboratory use to identify counterfeit and cloned components, from checking paperwork to internal visual inspection and materials analysis.
 
Joseph Federico is acknowledged as a expert in the field of cloned and counterfeit component detection.  He has lectured on the subject across the United States and in Europe, Russia, Israel and the Asian Pacific Rim.
