First fundraising Fair for Christian Aid Foundation!

Sept. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Everything was possible with the help of 21 volunteers and 4 staff members, the preparations for this event started 3 weeks earlier because we wanted to make the best of it! Announcements of this fair were made on radio, Internet and around the neighborhood with posters. The good publicity brought us many people for our first event like this, we had around 500 people.
Below you will find some impressions about the fair, and is because of them that we are motivated the held another fundraising fair!

„I am very glad that a was able to be a volunteer of Christian’s Aid Foundation fundraising Fall Fair, and in this way I could help the children of Amicii Center to have a better life.
It’s a good idea to raise money with an event like this, the prices were reasonable and because of this the people really enjoy giving away there money for a good cause.
Despised of the small place people were nice to each other, we had no conflict, were calm and this helped the event to take place in a happy and joyfully atmosphere.
Compering the things we had to sell with other fairs in this one almost everything was new and this made possible for everyone to find something.
As volunteer this was a great experience because I was able to help the people that  came, but more important the kids from Amicii Center- and I hope in the future there will be more fundraising events like this one!” Iulia Vaida- volunteer

„Lets start with the sellers- they managed very well considering big number of buyers. I think it was a clever idea to divide the things on categories: clothes for adults, kids, shoes and toys. The prices were very good especially at shoes, and for what I could see this was the manly sold product. I think that it will be excellent if in the future you could organized this fair in a larger space, with bigger rooms or even an open space I think it will be better. Myself I have only good thoughts about this kind of fundraising, I consider them a good opportunity to interact with friends and to buy different things at good prices.” Vasile Tomoiaga- customer
