Springs Preserve Announces On-Line Video Contest

Sept. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- SPRINGS PRESERVE ANNOUNCES "MY PRESERVE ESCAPE" VIDEO CONTEST
 Tell us how you escape Las Vegas when visiting the Preserve.


WHAT:   

The Springs Preserve is inviting those 18 and older to create their own commercial for the Preserve. Participants should create a YouTube video that shows, in less than a minute, how they escape Las Vegas when visiting the Preserve. Is it a place to connect with nature? To discover untold history? To sneak away from the buzz of the daily grind? To learn about sustainable living? Whatever it is, participants should let their video send that message.

Entry is simple - those taking part should create a video and upload it as a response to the Springs Preserve YouTube video entitled, "My Preserve Escape" which can be accessed via www.youtube.com/springspreserve. Entries can be uploaded on-line starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on September 16, 2010. The deadline for submitting entries is 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on October 31, 2010. Complete rules, terms and conditions can be found below the "My Preserve Escape" YouTube video and those taking part in the contest should review the rules, terms and conditions prior to creating and submitting their video entry.  

Videos will be judged on originality, creativity, production quality and representation of the Springs Preserve. Winning videos will be selected by November 8, 2010. Those selected will receive passes to create their own Springs Preserve escape, including a meal at the Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck --and have their video featured on the Springs Preserve YouTube channel.
      
First Place: 6 passes to the Preserve and $75 at Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck, Video featured on Springs Preserve YouTube channel
Second Place: 4 passes to the Preserve and $50 at the Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck, Video featured on Springs Preserve YouTube channel
Third Place: 2 passes to the Preserve, and $25 at the Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck, Video featured on Springs Preserve YouTube channel
Honorable mention (2): Video featured on Springs Preserve YouTube channel
