Howell Custom Building Group to Host Event for Architects and Designers

Sept. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- (Lawrence, Massachussets), September 16, 2010 -- Howell Building Group (http://www.howellcustombuild.com), a leading Boston area custom home builder and renovations contractor, will be hosting a special event for architects and designers, featuring guest speakers who will focus on timber framing and structural insulated panels.

This event is AIA approved and should be attended by architects and designers who wish to increase their knowledge of timber framing with structural insulated panels. David Raabe of the Timber Frame Business Council and Pete Dunnigan, representing the Structural Insulated Panel Association, will be the guest speakers and the focus will be on the benefits and recommended ways of combining these two non traditional building techniques.

In addition to general information such as energy considerations and examples of spaces created by these methods, the event will feature a question and answer session which is geared towards projects of interest to the attendees. Attendance at the event will be reported to the AIA Continuing Educational System for proper credit and a Certificate of Completion will be mailed to all participants.

The conference will be held at the Howell Custom Building Group headquarters at the Riverwalk Complex, Building 5 (360 Merrimack Street), Lawrence, MA, from 8.30 AM to 11.30 AM on Wednesday September 22, 2010.
