Instant Software Partners with JackRabbit Systems to Provide Search Engine to the Vacation Rent

Sept. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- BASALT, Colo., September 16, 2010 – Instant Software, Inc., the leading supplier of technology for the vacation rental industry, today announced the integration of JackRabbit’s BookDirect™ Lodging and Availability Search Engine with their technology infrastructure to manage vacation rental properties for real-time reservations.  The partnership affords ISI vacation rental market clients the opportunity to connect with new and different leads than previously available.

Helping visitors find lodging in local markets, BookDirect™ provides a comprehensive feature set for approximately 200 Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) websites, increasing direct bookings and local occupancy rates for Instant Software’s vacation rental clients.  BookDirect™ will quote Web site visitors an average nightly rate for a given arrival date and length of stay through the software system.

This integration opens up the vacation rental market to cities and select tourism operators, increasing revenue and the opportunity to represent more constituents in that market. As a result, Instant Software has access to another distribution channel, allowing vacation rental clients reside at the same preference level as other lodging options such as major hotel chains.
