Taking place from 24-26th September, the inaugural weekend coincides with the “World Coastal Clean Up” day, taking place in Phuket for the first time at Nai Yang beach on September 25.
As well as beach cleaning, guests will join an eco-tour of nearby mangrove forests by kayak and visit a hydroponic farm, rubber and palm plantation and mushroom farm. An afternoon will also be spent visiting a local Thai community to learn about their sustainable livelihoods.
The eco-adventure is priced at THB 21,900 with accommodation in a signature Pearl Bed Suite with complimentary extras including a la carte dinner for two with cocktails at any one of two restaurants at Indigo Pearl, one-hour foot massage for two at IN-DI-GO Spa and a 50% discount on an in-room spa milky bath as well as the Eco Tour.
It is a unique opportunity for holiday makers to support a good cause and learn about Thailand's environment and how the community manages and conserves their environment to improve the well-being of local people.
Following the launch of the eco-package for ‘World Coastal Clean’ participation, the promotion will extend to October 31 for stays of at least three nights.
The initiative is being launched in partnership with the international Sustainable Smiles (www.sustainablesmiles.org)
Upgrades to higher room categories are available at THB 2,000 for a private pool pavilion and THB 12,000 for a luxury suite.
