Hotel Okura Amsterdam’s teppanyaki restaurant – Sazanka will play an important part in this event as it is The Netherland’s only teppanyaki restaurant with its own cookbook, ‘Sazanka – Refined Teppanyaki Cuisine’, which was written by Chef Nonaka of Hotel Okura Amsterdam.
During the event the restaurant will be serving a ‘cookbook menu’. All the courses of this menu will be from Chef Nonaka’s recipe book and guests will have the opportunity to see the Chef in action before their own eyes. The menu is priced at €79.50 per person (excluding drinks and the cookbook).
To complement the event on 11th November, Chef Nonaka will be hosting a cooking workshop at the hotel’s Taste of Okura cooking studio, which opened at the end of last year in the hotel. In the course of this culinary session, guests will have the opportunity to prepare recipes from the book together with the Chef in person. The cooking workshop is €110 per person, including drinks (recipe book not included). Reservations are required.
