A new website is available for molecular biologists.  Personal Chain Reaction is a special social networking site designed for biologists who use Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).  Polymerase Chain Reaction is a molecular biology technique to amplify DNA and RNA in order to detect a certain sequence.  Polymerase Chain Reaction is used to determine if an individual has a certain microbial or viral disease, genetic mutation, DNA fingerprinting, and much much more.  

The website was designed by experts in PCR assay development, design, and troublshooting.  The staff working on Personal Chain Reaction have been working in the molecular biology field and with PCR for over 20 years.  This project was started as a way to bring together scientists for collaboration purposes.  The site provides specific tools for PCR and allows molecular biologists to share data, collaborate on projects, gather information, and get answers for troubling assays.
