Businesses in Cary to hold public community event at Ten-Ten and Kildaire Farm Rd.

Sept. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Mark your calendars! On Saturday, September 18, Urgent Care of Cary, Harris Teeter, Chick-Fil-A and over 15 other local businesses are holding a Family Block Party at the Stonebridge Village Shopping Center at the corner of Ten-Ten and Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary, NC. The event, which is open to the public, will go from 12 PM to 6 PM in the parking lot of the shopping center.

Activities will include free food, free massages, give-a-ways, live music and fun for the kids. Safety talks will be given by the Cary fire and police departments with photo opportunities. Chick-Fil-A , Subway, Chef’s Palette, and Harris Teeter will be providing delicious summer food. A bounce house castle, Karate demonstrations and free popcorn will be provided by The Kangaroo and Vision Martial Arts. Triangle Vision will be providing free vision screenings. Medical Arts School will be providing free massages. Other freebies, discounts and coupons will be given away by many of the other participating businesses. The Garland Mason Band and The Jason Sikes Band will be providing live music.

Businesses within the Stonebridge Village Shopping Center and the surrounding area are holding this event as a way of giving back to the community and thanking those that patron their businesses.

“It is rewarding to be part of giving back to the local patients that we treat in our urgent care clinic. What better way than to give your time creating fun activities within the community” said Victor Devarie, who is a medical assistant at Urgent Care of Cary and a local resident of Cary.
