OTTER to develop its text and drive app solution for Ovi Store by Nokia

Sept. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, WA – OTTER LLC of Seattle, Washington announced today that they will develop the OTTER smartphone app for Nokia’s Ovi Store.

The OTTER app, currently available on Android and  launching on Blackberry in one week,  will become the first app of its kind to establish a solid international presence.   “Texting management in the home, office, and most importantly on our highways is a worldwide problem.  When our application becomes available in the Ovi Store, OTTER will be in a position to not only reach more people in the United States but also users across the globe”  adds Mr. Wood.

The version of OTTER for Ovi Store will be available later this fall and OTTER LLC will reiterate its commitment to making this technology available to all users for a small download cost of $3.99 with no recurring fees.

HOW OTTER WORKS:
OTTER is the first app of its kind that integrates Auto Reply and GPS functionality to produce a tool that allows users to manage their texts while they are at home, in the office or, most importantly, on the highway. OTTER includes a GPS Parental Control feature for the highest risk drivers - teens.  Parents can enter a session specific pass code on teen’s phones to make sure that GPS Mode is on when the user is driving.  OTTER offers a tool to the texting culture instead of an invasive texting "lock down" system.
