Roc Oil Forms Joint Venture With CNOOC: A Step Towards Developing Beibu Gulf Project" Published

Sept. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Roc Oil Company Limited (ROC Oil), an upstream energy company, entered into a joint venture with CNOOC Limited (CNOOC), an oil and gas company, for the development and exploration of two oil blocks located in the provinces of Gulf of Tonkin, South China Sea. The joint venture has an initial investment of $300m with a production capacity of 20,000 barrels/day and is expected to commence its operations by 2012. CNOOC owns 51% stake and Roc Oil Company owns the remaining 49% stake in the joint venture.
