Richard Pacheco, owner of Allied Foundation, www.crackedslab.com, began to realize that he needed to do something in order to save the jobs of his employees. The company has been family owned since 1982.

“My employees are like my family. I had to do something to make sure that they were taken care of in this time of need across America. I didn’t want to have to let anyone go because every one of them plays such a vital role in this company,” said Pacheco.

Pacheco started looking at his business plan and what he could do to make sure that none of his 75 employees were laid off. He changed the work week from Monday thru Friday to Tuesday thru Friday. This little family owned business also needed a way to save money on marketing in such a big city. Just by being proactive in his search to make a profit and save his employees jobs, he still has all his employees and is still going strong. The business has received Awards of Excellence from Angies List and the Better Business Bureau.

“When times got tough, everyone got a little nervous. You hear it everyday that someone is being laid off, but Richard is different. He truly treats us like family and takes care of his employees. He takes care of us and we take care of the customers. I’m proud to work for a man like Richard,” said Nelson Reyes, supervisor at Allied Foundation.
