Greater Miami Chamber Hosts Health Career Resource Expo for Employers and Transitioning Workers

The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Healthcare Committee will host their first Health Career Resource Expo on Tuesday, September 14 from 2:30-7:30 p.m. at Hilton Miami Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard, Ballroom Level.

Sept. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Healthcare Committee will host their first Health Career Resource Expo on Tuesday, September 14 from 2:30-7:30 p.m. at Hilton Miami Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard, Ballroom Level. Transitioning workers interested in pursuing a healthcare career, hospital and healthcare managers looking for employees and new graduates, education institutions looking for potential students and employment opportunities for graduates, and allied health professionals looking for new opportunities should attend.  

The health career fair will feature a general session; presentations including “The Future of Healthcare and the Need for a Qualified Workforce” by Corey Heller, corporate vice president and chief human resources officer, Baptist Health South Florida; “Careers in Healthcare” by Rick Beasley, executive director, South Florida Workforce; and remarks by Ernesto Perez, CEO, Dade Medical College.
